Will the scheme_name of transactions paid through Afterpay, be displayed as 'afterpay' or 'mastercard/'Visa'?
Afterpay Card’s BIN number in Australia is 523163 and New Zealand is 428485. This is an exclusive Afterpay BIN and can therefore be used to differentiate Afterpay from other card payment types that are processed as part of your Mastercard (AU) or VISA (NZ) volume. If your Merchant Acquirer provides BIN level data in their summary or transaction level statements, all volume associated with this BIN number will always belong to the Afterpay Card. Some acquirers will offer this as part of standard reporting and for others this option may be available by request.
Why are purchase, refund or cashout transactions unavailable for terminals paired with Spice in pay at table mode?
Once pay at table is enabled on Spice, all terminals paired with that instance of Spice will also enter pay at table mode. A dedicated PC is recommended for merchants who offer the pay at table experience. A separate PC running Spice is required for merchants who want to process standard transactions alongside pay at table.
Spice pay at table is available on all Android devices (e.g. Verifone T650p) and Classic VAA devices (e.g. Verifone VX690).
Merchants who already use Spice simply need to update their existing version of Spice by navigating to the Settings menu then Update & Uninstall tab. For merchants who don’t already use Spice, please visit https://developer.mx51.io/docs/spice-getting-started to download the latest version.
